Original Poem

English Meaning
I raise my wine to the east wind: let us take our time. East of Luocheng, along the willow-shaded paths — always the places where we once joined hands, roaming every thicket of blossoms. Gatherings and partings are bitterly hurried; this regret is endless. This year's flowers are redder than last year's — a pity that next year's will be finer still: with whom shall I see them?
