English Meaning
My lord is away on service — I do not know for how long. When will he come home? The chickens roost; the sun sets; sheep and cattle come down from the hills. My lord is on service — how can I not think of him? My lord is on service, beyond counting of days and months. When shall we meet again? The chickens roost at dusk; the flocks come down. Let him at least not hunger and thirst!
