洞房昨夜停红烛，待晓堂前拜舅姑。
妆罢低声问夫婿，画眉深浅入时无。
Pinyin
dòng fáng zuó yè tíng hóng zhú， dài xiǎo táng qián bài jiù gū。
zhuāng bà dī shēng wèn fū xù， huà méi shēn qiǎn rù shí wú。
English Meaning
Last night red candles burned in the bridal chamber; at dawn she will greet her parents-in-law. Makeup done, she asks her husband in a low voice: are my painted brows in fashion, or not?

About the Poem
