New Practical Chinese Reader (2nd edition) Flashcards
Cut-out cards made from the New Practical Chinese Reader (2nd edition) lesson lists — the same word lists the textbook pages publish, one card per listed word: 3,309 printable words.
Live preview of the server-rendered vector PDF — the download is byte-for-byte what you see here.
The back page is mirrored so the cards align correctly when printed double-sided. Please select “Flip on long edge” in your printer settings.
Every lesson and volume has its own deck.
The series list breaks this deck down by volume and lesson, so you can print just next week’s vocabulary instead of the whole course.
Get the sheet on paper cleanly
Double-sided
Pages alternate front, back, front, back. Print all pages with your printer set to “flip on long edge” and the backs land behind their fronts. Cut lines are printed on both sides so you can check the alignment before cutting.
No duplex printer?
Turn on single-sided fold mode: the front goes on the left of the sheet, the back on the right, mirrored across a printed fold line. Fold the sheet in half and every front sits exactly on its back — cut through both layers.

Spacing matches perforated business-card sheets (0–11 mm), so 10-per-page fits a 2 × 3.5" sheet. For plain paper, raise the spacing and cut along the dashed guides.
